About
Maria Drazilov
Maria Drazilov is a Toronto-based visual artist whose practice centres on photography. Working at the boundary between lens and brush, she digitally manipulates photographic images to create a hybrid aesthetic that merges traditional painting and drawing techniques with digital pixels.
Her work explores the layered texture of Toronto's streets, the skeletal beauty of winter trees, and the abstract forms found in organic matter — always pushing toward something that feels simultaneously documentary and dreamlike.
